Glabridin is a flavonoid extracted from Glycyrrhiza glabra. For its almost harsh extraction conditions and superior snow muscle effect, it is known as "whitening gold". Glabridin can only be extracted from specific licorice. Only 100 g of Glycyrrhiza uralensis can be obtained from 1000 kg of Glycyrrhiza uralensiscyrrhiza uralensis equivalent to 1 g of physical gold.
